Wildlife abundance

These are Vulture-headed Guinea Fowl at a local Maasai water trough. Water is VERY limited, not only is this the dry season - the long rain season should start in March - but there was no short rain season last fall. That means water hasn't fallen in nearly a year. Every so often you'll come across man-made troughs to help out the game animals.

Did you notice the red clay?

hmmm.. I don't think I saw those.. but I didn't see a lot of birds.. or I wasn't paying attention to them.
